Our Solution
CIEES worked with DBHDS to transform their proven in-person training into a new digital experience that extended the reach and impact of REVIVE! Drawing on our instructional design expertise, our team:
- Refined existing training using evidence-based principles for online learning engagement and retention
- Created a youth-specific training version with updated visuals, tone, and narration
- Scripted and produce a new naloxone administration animation to improve clarity and accessibility
- Develop a REVIVE mnemonic to support recall of life-saving steps in overdose response
- Coordinated translation into Spanish, Arabic, and Korean
Working within state procurement guidelines and approval processes, we bridged DBHDS’s subject matter expertise with digital learning best practices—creating a training that maintains instructional integrity while scaling to meet urgent public health needs.
The result: a responsive, accessible training that meets educators, adolescent peers, bystanders, and *health care* where they are, when it matters most.
